Devenward Samsara - 1993 mare

Sam is the much treasured foundation broodmare of the stud. Purchased as a 2 year old we had plans of showing her once we had weaned her first foal.

Unfortunately due to injury she has never been shown. She is the daughter of an Australian National Champion (Devenward Arcadia) and her 2 fillies that we have shown have both been successful in the showring with limited outings.

Sam is also the dam of our 2005 gelding Jaballa Al Bashiir.

Jaballa Samaardia - 1998 mare

Maardi was the first foal we bred and she is out of our foundation mare Sam. Maardi made her debut into the showring as a weanling for a Top 5 placing at 'A' class level. Since the she has been shown sparingly as a 2 & 3 yr old and once as a broodmare for a placing each time. She is a Champion at 'A' class level, Top 5 at 'AA' class and winner of Classical Head.

Maardi carries a double cross to the stallion Amazing Sachaar - 1989 Aust Nat Champ Stallion. Her maternal grandmother Devenward Arcadia was the 1992 Aust Nat Champ Jun Filly and was twice Top Ten Aust Nat Champ Mare.

Maardi has now been retired to stud and has joined her mother Sam in the broodmare band. Following in her mothers footsteps she has blessed the stud with 2 fillies.

Jaballa Kalahari - 2001 mare

Kali is out of Bellerieve Sahara and is one of the studs 2 treasured daughters of Akid Geshan (imp/exp USA). Whilst only shown sparingly at 'A' & 'AA' class shows, Kali has never been unplaced and was a Top 5 winner at 2005 Challenge Show.

An awkward developer we decided to put Kali in foal to allow her to fully mature before taking her back to the showring. You can see her first offspring - Jaballa Farahh'ri on the geldings page.

Jaballa Elyssium - 2001 mare

Lyssa is a precious daughter of Akid Geshan (imp/exp USA) and our foundation broodmare Sam.

Lyssa has never been unplaced in her limited show career at 'A' & 'AA' class shows. As a yearling at the Top of the Range show she placed 1st in both the Egyptian Related and Open class as well as gaining the Res Champ Egyptian Related Female. Lyssa also placed 2nd at 2005 Challenge Show.

Daniella - 1991 mare

Dani is a lovely older broodmare recently acquired by the stud. We have been after a Simeon Sa'ar mare for awhile and the opportunity arose to acquire Dani.

As a bonus Dani stands at 15.3hh and is also chestnut which certainly makes her stand out in the crowd of greys around here.
